Step 1: Design Consultation
You’ll meet one-on-one with jewelry designer Alexandria who you’ll be working with through the entire process during your meeting. If you have heirloom jewelry or loose stones you want to incorporate, this is when you’ll show us. You don’t need to know anything about jewelry, diamonds, or design - we’re here to help with that! We’ll talk about who the jewelry is for, what makes them unique, and any design ideas or inspiration you have. The process and timeline will also be covered during this time. By the end of the meeting, we’ll have a solid idea of the design and the approximate price range.
Step 2: Sketches
Your inspiration, ideas, and specifications will be used to bring your design to life on paper (more specifically with an iPad). Attention to detail is my specialty. Not only will your custom piece of jewelry be a work of art, but it will also be a functional piece built to last a lifetime and to be shared with future generations. This is all done while keeping your budget in mind. We’ll email you 2-3 sketches initially and gather your honest feedback. We often nail the design on the first round of sketches, but if you aren’t seeing something you love, we are happy to make revisions until the design is exactly what you dreamed of.
Step 3: Stone Selection
All of our stones are responsibly sourced and hand selected by Alexandria herself. Each stone has been chosen specifically with your design, desired quality, and budget in mind.
During your stone selection appointment, we are here to be a guide and educational resource to help you pick the right stone FOR YOU. You will have the opportunity to view the stones we have selected, ask any questions you may have, and ultimately select the stone that goes into your finished piece of jewelry.
*We’ll never show you stones that are out of your price range or under our high quality standards.
Step 4: Production
We’ll precisely engineer and architect your design into a 3D CAD model and send you a digital rendering for your approval. Once approved, we take the 3D concept to metal and make a casting of your ring. From there we hand set your stones, add design details and polish.
Step 5: Your Bling is Finished!
When your ring is ready, we will coordinate a pickup time or an insured delivery of your piece. We will also set up a brief meeting to talk about care and cleaning, provide an appraisal, jewelry insurance info, and diamond or gemstone certification when applicable.
Your finished piece of jewelry will come in a beautiful box that you are welcome to keep for ring storage (and your proposal if it’s an engagement ring), along with jewelry cleaner to ensure your bling stays sparkly!
