Hi my name is Alexandria!

I’m a 3rd generation jeweler, designer and owner of A. D’Mae Diamonds, located in Denver, Colorado. From the time I was a young kid, I have always had a love of art and design, which started with pencil drawings and has expanded to painting on canvas, photography, photoshop, and CAD Jewelry Design. Growing up in the family jewelry business in Iowa, I’ve had the opportunity to learn about diamonds, gemstones and fine jewelry, along with what it means to be a business owner. While the hard knowledge was something I was always hungry to learn more about, and without a doubt a necessity, my biggest takeaway was how important the human element of the process is and how remarkable it is to be able to work in an industry where we get to connect with others and be a part of their special moments, memories, and lives.

Over the years, I have worked for various jewelry companies both on a local and national level. Although I was doing what I “loved,” I was missing the ability to form a true connection with people, while also being my authentic self. I didn’t want to be just a salesperson who pushed the hottest trend or “sold” someone on what the Joneses had. I’ve always believed that jewelry has the ability to tell a story about an individual or a couple, and should express who they are.

With all of that in mind, I knew I didn’t want to be an owner of a traditional retail jewelry store, run a franchise, or work for a large corporation. I desired the freedom to be able to incorporate my creativity, and passion for art and design into my business, while putting my client at the forefront of all that I do.

By working from a private office as a personal jeweler, I am able to take the time to sit down one-on-one with clients (in-person or virtually) and ask the right questions, along with providing expert knowledge in order to create a functional and beautiful piece of jewelry that can be cherished forever. By working directly with the best diamond and gemstone wholesalers in the world to hand-select each stone that goes into a piece of jewelry, I am able to provide a high-quality product at a price-point that can't be found anywhere else.

When I'm not working with clients, I’m pursuing my education to become a Graduate Gemologist through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). This diploma is important to me because it deepens my understanding of gemstones and diamonds, enhances my ability to identify and grade them accurately, and ensures I provide the highest level of expertise and integrity in all my jewelry designs. Becoming a Graduate Gemologist allows me to offer my clients a unique blend of creative design and technical knowledge, ensuring every piece I create is both beautiful and of the highest quality.
